Great Grey Owl

The Great Grey Owl is one of the largest of the owl species and known as the Phantom of the North.  Much of its size is deceptive since most of its size is due to its fluffy feathers.  Though nesting in the dense forests, it often prefers open areas of meadows and bogs.  The bright yellow eyes are striking against the grey plumage.  These birds are fascinating creatures and the perfect addition to your country home.
