Mountain Bluebirds are elusive little creatures.  But when they grace you with their presence, it is a magical moment.  These sweet little birds are spectacular in appearance, but shy in nature.  Their quiet mewing song is a sharp contrast to their brilliant sky-blue plumage.  One of the rare few birds that tolerate a human presence, these cavity nesting birds prefer to nest in man-made bird boxes.
