Let’s work together to create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece for your home.

Let Fire Creek Clay create a custom-made tile for you. Each custom tile begins as an original hand-carved design inspired by the natural world; landscapes and the stories people carry with them. Because every design is created by hand, custom work requires additional design time beyond the creation of the final tile itself.

Design Fee-

Custom tile requests include a non-refundable design fee. This fee covers:

  • Concept development
  • Sketching and planning
  • Hand carving the original master tile
  • Time spent refining the design.

The design fee is separate from the final tile order.

Future Collection Use-

Unless otherwise agree upon in writing, Fire Creek Clay LLC retains the rights to reproduce and sell custom designs as part of future collections or product lines. This allows custom commissions to continue inspiring future work while helping support the creation of new handmade designs.

Exclusivity-

If you would like your design to remain exclusive and not reproduced in future collections, please mention this during the design process. Exclusive designs require an additional licensing fee.

Revisions-

The design fee includes reasonable minor revisions during the sketch phase. Significant changes after carving have begun may require additional fees.

Handmade Variations-

Each tile is individually handmade and hand finished. Slight variations in color, carving, glaze movement, and texture are part of the character of handmade ceramic work and make each piece unique.

Deposits and Payment-

A full payment of the design fee is required before designing can begin.
